About Father Dill
Father Anthony Robert Dill was ordained to the priesthood on June 30, 2012, at St. Patrick Cathedral in Harrisburg by Bishop Joseph P. McFadden (watch the ordination). In the years since, he has served the Diocese of Harrisburg in both parish ministry and in roles that require deep training in the Church’s law.
Before coming to St. Francis of Assisi, Father Dill served as Pastor of Holy Spirit Parish in Palmyra. On June 17, 2024, Bishop Senior assigned him as Pastor of our parish in Allison Hill. He is the eighteenth pastor in our 125-year history.
Service to the Diocese
In addition to leading our parish, Father Dill continues to serve the wider Diocese of Harrisburg:
- Defender of the Bond — a canonical role in the Diocesan Tribunal, serving in marriage-nullity cases on behalf of the bond of marriage itself.
