Forming the next generation in the faith is one of the most important things we do as a parish. Our Religious Education program walks with children and youth toward First Communion, Confirmation, and a lifelong relationship with Jesus.

Schedule / Horario
Sundays 10:15 – 11:30 AM at the St. Francis Community Center, 1453 Zarker St., Harrisburg, PA. Classes are offered in both English and Spanish. Registration is open year-round — call the parish office at (717) 232-1003 to enroll your child.

- K – 2 Sunday School — foundations of prayer and the sacraments. Includes First Reconciliation in 2nd grade.
- 3 – 5 First Communion preparation (typically 2nd–3rd grade) and continued Sunday classes.
- 6 – 8 Middle-school catechesis — Scripture, parish life, service, vocations.
- 9 – 10 Confirmation preparation. Two-year track culminating with a Confirmation retreat and the sacrament.
